Offered is this newspaper supplement to the Sunday, April 1, 1973 Augusta Chronicle, all about the upcoming 1973 Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia. The 12 page section has a colorful artwork cover of the 11th hole by David Halcame and includes articles on many of the big names in golf at the time, like Lee Trevino and Jack Nicklaus, as well as articles looking back to past tournaments. Also including is a directory of local and area businesses, with many local and national ads. This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find another copy of this for sale on eBay or anywhere else.
The newspaper is approx.22" x 15". It is in good condition. There are no major tears but there may be some short edge tears. It has been folded and there is some wear along the creases. The paper has browned but everything is readable. I see no writing on any of the pages.
