The AD8347 is a single-chip, down-conversion, broadband quadrature demodulator manufactured by Analog Devices that accepts
RF inputs in the 800MHz to 2.7GHz range and downconverts the input to baseband (IF) I / Q component.
The chip has the following characteristics:
(1) high chip integration, simple peripheral circuits, circuit size, low power consumption. The AD 8347 integrates an RF controlled gain amplifier (AGC),
a quadrature downconverter, a local oscillator driver, a DC offset zeroing circuit, and a dual differential output amplifier with adjustable DC common-mode levels. The chip even integrates a baseband level detector.
The chip can provide a maximum gain of 70d B, so only a single piece of AD 8347, plus a small amount of external components,
coupled with an LNA and an LO circuit, you can form a complete receiver system. The entire receiver volume can be reduced to the maximum.
The AD8347 operates with a typical operating current of 64mA and consumes only 320mW at 5V.
(2) Both the RF signal input port and the LO signal input port of the AD 8347 have differential input and single-ended input modes and can be driven by different L NA and VC O. Similarly,
